The meeting is for all researchers who may be interested in learning about or submitting a proposal to either the new ERC Plus scheme or the upcoming ERC Synergy call. The meeting will include a presentation from the Dutch national contact point for the ERC, and there will be the opportunity to ask questions.

The ERC Plus is open to researchers at all career stages who have an outstanding record of scientific achievement relative to their peers, with bold ideas and a vision for transformative research that goes beyond the scope of existing ERC programmes. A maximum of 30 grants will be awarded under this programme in 2026.

The ERC Synergy is for teams of 2-4 researchers working together and bringing different skills and resources to tackle ambitious research problems. All PIs should have a competitive track record as appropriate for their career stage. Approximately 50 grants are awarded under this programme each year.
