Erma Hermens

Erma Hermens is the Rijksmuseum Professor in studio practice and technical art history at the University of Amsterdam and researcher in technical art history at the Rijksmuseum, Department of Conservation & Science, where she works with interdisciplinary teams, liaising between curators, conservators and scientists, combining art historical and contextual research of objects with scientific analytical data and art technological sources.   

Gijs van der Ham

Gijs van der Ham is senior curator at the History Department of the Rijksmuseum since 2001. He was the curator of exhibitions on Dutch heroism in 2007 (Held) and about the Eighty Years War in 2018 (80 jaar oorlog), is responsible for the Medals and Coins Collection, and published various books on Dutch history (a.o. Dof goud, De geschiedenis van Nederland in 100 voorwerpen, 200 jaar Rijksmuseum, 80 jaar oorlog).

Jeffrey Collins

Jeffrey Collins is professor of art history and material culture at Bard Graduate Center, where he specialises in 17th- and 18th-century Europe and Latin America. A Fellow of the American Academy in Rome, he is the author of Papacy and Politics in Eighteenth-Century Rome: Pius VI and the Arts and a principal contributor to Pedro Friedeberg: Architect of Impeccable Confusions and the Yale/BGC History of Design: Decorative Arts and Material Culture, 1400-2000.

Marion Anker

Marion Anker is junior curator of history at the Rijksmuseum. She is currently working on an exhibition on the Indonesian struggle for independence (1945-1949), which is planned for 2021. In addition, she is co-organiser of the Night of History at the Rijksmuseum and jury member of the history teacher of the year 2020. She studied History at Leiden University and at the University of Amsterdam.
