Applications submitted after the deadline will not be taken into consideration.

We will not offer any other information than stated on our website. Only by submitting a complete application in Embark we can come to an informed decision about your specific case.
If your scores for do not meet the minimum scores required, your application will not be taken into consideration. We do not grant any exemptions from taking a GMAT/GRE test other than the ones stated in the entry requirements of this programme.
Please be aware that your GMAT/GRE test scores need to be uploaded before the deadline that applies to you. Test results handed in after the deadline will not be taken into consideration and will result in your application being closed.
If your GPA score does not meet the required minimum, your application will not be taken into consideration. We do not grant any exemptions to the GPA minimum.
Please note that meeting the minimum GPA requirement does not guarantuee your selection to the programme. Selection depends on available capacity in the programme. Each year, the final GPA cut off is decided after we have received all applications.
An additional GMAT/GRE test may be accepted, however, your GPA score will be leading.
We do not offer any kind of pre-screening services and therefore we cannot provide you with a definitive decision on whether you will be admitted or not. We do not make statements about your eligibility by phone or email. We can only come to an informed decision about your eligibility by reviewing your complete Embark application.
Your eligibility to the programme of your choice is solely based on academic credentials. We do not take work experience into consideration.
Our aim is to review your Embark application within 3-4 weeks. However, the review time will increase close to application deadlines or when your documents need an extra review.
If any documents are missing from your application, you will be informed by email. In order to avoid missing important information, make sure to check your spam folder for emails sent from @embark.com and @uva.nl.
Students with an international degree are required to prove their English proficiency, by taking one of the English proficiency tests or by meeting one of the possible exemptions stated on our programme’s websites. We do not grant any other exemptions than the exemptions stated on our website. If your grades do not meet the minimum scores, your application will not be taken into consideration.
Please be aware that your English test needs to be taken before the deadline that applies to you. Make sure to hand in your test scores as soon as possible. English tests taken after the deadline will not be taken into consideration and your application will be closed.
We provide a limited number of scholarships for highly talented non-EU students applying to one of our Bachelor's and Master's programmes. Each year, the scholarship application deadline is on 15 January for students applying for the next academic year. Applications handed in after the scholarship deadline will not be taken into consideration.
Students who apply for a scholarship will be informed of the outcome by email on 1 April by the latest.
