The Duisenberg Honours Programme is designed for highly ambitious students with excellent analytical and leadership abilities, who want to attain a deep level of knowledge across different specialisations. This track is one of 7 tracks you can opt for in our Master's in Finance.
The Duisenberg Honours Programme is a challenging combination of completing a track, plus 2 elective courses from another track, plus an internship. The total study load is 85EC.
In this honours programme you finish all courses within 1 year, together with your thesis. During or after these courses, you will also do a supervised Master's internship of at least 3 months. Not only will you perform the standard internship tasks at your company, but you will also work on (and complete) an advice on a challenging problem that your company faces.
This honours programme can be completed in 1 year. The maximum time you have to finish the programme is 1.5 year.

If you plan to follow this honours programme, you will develop a provisional study plan, which needs to be ready by the 1st week of October. This plan will be reviewed together with the Finance Department to check for any conflicts in scheduling or pre-requisites between courses.
