For whom?

This masterclass is designed for managers in business and HR who recognise the value of analytics and who want to learn more about how to use people data to solve business problems. The focus will be more on the business application of people analytics (‘the translator’ role), and less on mathematics and data science.

Mastering people analytics has become an important skill in managerial decision-making. It can also help you lead people analytics projects that will add value to the business.

be able to identify and select useful types of data and metrics;
know which types of analyses are relevant;
be able to visualise and interpret your data and present your results in a convincing way;
be able to build people analytics capabilities in your own company.

Teaching staff

Professor Corine Boon conducts research in the area of strategic HRM and people analytics. She is also director of the Amsterdam People Analytics Centre (APAC) and (co) program director of the honours programme Data Driven Management. She teaches courses in the area of people analytics, leadership and management, and strategic HRM in several MSc and MBA programmes.
