Tanja Ahlin is a doctoral candidate at the University of Amsterdam, working across medical anthropology and science and technology studies. She has previously earned a MA in Health and Society in South Asia from Heidelberg University. She has published on the topics of care, ICTs, migration and ageing in Medical Anthropology Quarterly, Medical Anthropology and the Routledge Handbook of Medical Anthropology (2016) as well as on other topics in Transnational Psychiatry, Current Anthropology and elsewhere.
