  • Profile

I am a Senior Lecturer in New Media and Digital Culture at the department of Media Studies. My research focuses on how computational epistemologies and their artefacts have affected notions of sense and sense making, both scientifically and culturally, since the late 20th century. I am studying the advent of computer programming languages and look at how these notions of “language” relate to the fields of logic and (meta)mathematics as well as some forms of modern literature. In addition to this work, I have interest in the fields of media arts, media history, media archeology, software/hardware studies, and maintenance/infrastructure studies.

Beside my academic work, I also produce artworks that have been commissioned and exhibited in various places across Europe.
