    Sander Kunst is a PhD candidate at the programme group Institutions, Inequalities and Life courses (IIL) at the Sociology Department and the programme group Challenges to Democratic Representation at the Political Science Department of the University of Amsterdam. He is affiliated with the Amsterdam Centre for Inequality Studies (AMCIS), the AISSR (aissr.uva.nl) and the ICS (ics-graduateschool.nl). His PhD project seeks to further investigate the mechanisms underlying the educational divide in cosmopolitan attitudes in Western societies in the age of globalization (Supervisors: dr. Theresa Kuhn and prof. dr. Herman van de Werfhorst). 

    Sander holds a Bachelor in Political Science (University of Amsterdam) and a Reseach Master’s degree in Social Sciences (University of Amsterdam).
