Ori Rubin is currently a postdoc researcher at the University of Amsterdam. In his research he studies how land-use and public spaces change in the areas surrouning the new metro line in Amsterdam: the Noord-Zuidlijn.
Ori obtained his PhD degree from the University of Groningen for his research on the role travel mobility plays in face-to-face social contact and what are the opportunities and constraints for sustainable face-to-face contact.
Since 2015 Ori has been involved in teaching at the bachelor programme Social Geography and Planning and in supervising bachelor thesis groups.
