Sabrina Stallone is an affiliated researcher at the University of Amsterdam in the School for Transnational, Regional and European Studies (ARTES). She holds an MA in Cultural Analysis from the University of Amsterdam and previously studied English Literature and Linguistics as well as Anthropology at the University of Zurich and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She is currently a doctoral candidate at the Institute of Social Anthropology at the University of Bern, where she broadly focuses on how gendered subjectivities are shaped by and how they shape emerging urban contexts, especially those undergoing strongly gentrifying urban transformations.
Her research interests include feminist theory, critical urban studies, globalization and gentrification as well as the spatial turn in the humanities.
