Profile
I focus on computer-assisted moderation of online discussions and constructive argumentation on social media and news websites. For this project, we look at case studies of polarized discussions happening on online platforms, for example on the topic of climate change. Using these cases, I aim to create computational tools to aid the human moderator. More information can be found on the Better-MODS website.
I am affiliated with the KNAW Meertens Instituut in Amsterdam.
