Shuaishuai Wang is a Lecturer in New Media and Digital Culture. Shuaishuai obtained his Ph.D. in Media Studies at the University of Amsterdam in 2019. His research interests include platform studies (particularly short-video sharing platforms), data and algorithms, political economy, and gender and sexuality. He has published in journals including Information, Communication & Society, Media, Culture & Society, Feminist Media Studies (in press), and Sexualities.
