Choosing the right programme will increase your chances of succeeding in your studies. For this reason, UvA Matching is a mandatory part of the application procedure for all prospective Bachelor’s students who have completed their prior education at a Dutch educational institution.
During UvA Matching you will take part in the study programme of the Bachelor’s in Communication Science. This includes attending lectures and reviewing course materials. You will finish UvA Matching with a test. You will then receive personal advice on the basis of your test results. This will help you determine whether this study programme is a good fit for you and whether you have the motivation and study skills to start the programme in September.
Prospective students who have applied for a Bachelor’s programme at the UvA for the first time and who have completed their prior education at a Dutch educational institution. This includes prospective students applying with a hbo propedeuse (first-year diploma from a Dutch University of Applied Sciences). You can find more general information on the UvA Matching here.
