What does the study programme look like?
The one-year Data Science Master's track is designed for you to become an all-round data scientist who knows how to go through all the steps in a data-driven project; from how to approach a business or societal problem from a data-analytical perspective (asking the right questions) to the final implementation of data science solutions, while also understanding the organisational and social implications these solutions may have.
In the first semester you will take three core courses and at least one elective. In the second semester you will take one more core course and one more elective, before focussing on your Master’s thesis.

What are the entry requirements for this Master’s programme?
The entry requirements and the application procedure for this Master’s programme depends on whether you have completed your prior education in the Netherlands or abroad.

Can I study this programme in part-time?
Yes, the Data Science track is available on a part-time basis. You will complete the programme in two years instead of one. You follow one half of the curriculum in the first year and the other half in the next.

The application process and the deadline depend on whether you have completed your prior education in the Netherlands or abroad.
