Keep me informed
In autumn and spring you can attend live Meet & Ask sessions. Do you want us to keep you informed on news and upcoming events?
-
1. Do I need to find my own internship or does the UvA provide an internship?
We will help you find an internship through internship meet-ups with companies, information on how to find your internships and intervision meetings. But you will ultimately have to secure your own internship position that meets our requirements.
-
2. Do I need to do my thesis at the UvA or can I find my own thesis position?
We have several thesis positions available with our own staff, but it is also possible to do a master’s thesis outside of the UvA if it meets our requirements.
-
3. Are there any electives in this master’s track?
We do not offer electives ourselves, nor does the programme allow room for electives. If there are specific courses you would like to take outside of this programme, please contact the study advisor to discuss this.
-
4. Is attendance mandatory?
Yes, for almost all of the courses attencance is mandatory. Next to that, due to the amount of groupwork in the courses we expect you to be available to work together.
-
5. Can I work next to this programme?
Although we understand that students need to work in order to provide for themselves, we want to emphasize that it is really difficult for students to work together if everyone has jobs on the side during the week due to conflicting schedules.
