  • I am still waiting for the transcript of my courses obtained abroad. Without the transcript I am not able to graduate.
    • Apply for your degree certificate and indicate in your request that you are waiting for results obtained abroad and that you want to start a Master’s programme on 1 September.
    • Please hand in your transcript at the Education Desk no later than 15 August (when starting in September) or 16 January (when starting in February), to make sure there is enough time to complete your admission.
    • Make sure you arrange the approval of Board of Examiners in advance for inclusion of your courses obtained abroad in your study programme. More information on a minor or semester abroad.
  • I am still waiting for results to be registered in SIS and not sure if this will be done in time.

    Apply for your degree certificate and indicate in your request that you are waiting for results obtained abroad and that you want to start a Master’s programme on 1 September or 1 February.

  • I am not sure if I meet the admission requirements before the deadline.

    Do you want to start with a Master's programme on 1 September? Enrol in the Master’s programme in Studielink and also re-enrol in your current Bachelor’s programme.

    Please note that if you do not meet the admission requirements in time, your enrolment for the Master's will be cancelled. In that case you will receive a notification from the Student Administration in advance.

    Do you want to start with a Master's programme on 1 February? Enrol in the Master’s programme in Studielink and do not terminate your enrolment in your current Bachelor’s programme yet.

  • When can I start with a Master’s Programme?
    • All Master’s programmes start on 1 September. The Master Business Administration has three tracks - Consumer Marketing, Digital Marketing and International Management – that start on 1 February as well.
    • Students who have taken a Bachelor's programme or Pre-Master's programme at UvA Economics and Business also have the option to start on 1 February with the Master Accountancy and Control. Please note that this is not an official starting moment and that you will not be able to finish the Master's programme within one year if you start in February.
    • Have you been previously enrolled in Studielink for the same Master’s programme? If this is the case you can also start on 1 February by submitting an enrolment request in Studielink before 1 February. When enrolling, answer ‘No’ to the question ‘starts in the first year?’
  • I have enrolled in Studielink after the course registration period and therefore I am too late for registering for my courses.
  • Currently I am not a student at UvA Economics and Business.
    • Students from outside UvA Economics and Business should enroll in the Master’s programme via Studielink. After you've done that you will receive an email about the next steps.
    • You find all information about the enrolment procedure on the UvA Master's website under 'Application and Admission'.
    • If you have any questions about your enrolment, please contact the Admissions Office.
    • As a new student you will be registered for courses by the Student Administration.
