Why Event Design?

The challenge for every event manager is to develop a compelling program, over and over again. Taking care of concept development and event execution in the same role can be challenging. Every project is unique and often very complex. A spider web of all kinds of disciplines, delivering their services. How to articulate the value of an event, the return on investment and what is the effect the event has on branding, relationships and sales?
 

What will you learn?

The Event Design Certificate Program is an immersive three-day training course that will innovate the industry by teaching a systematic 10 step visual approach to event design for meeting professionals. Program participants will learn critical skills that will enable them to design events based on stakeholder needs and then prototype event designs using the #EventCanvas, a strategic management template for developing new or documenting existing events and conference models. 

After this course you:
- Are able to apply the EventCanvas to document and design events
- May submit a full event design as a case study within 6 months after the program
- Get two online coaching sessions with the trainers after the program
- Receive the Certificate and may call yourself Certified Event Designer

Practical information

The Event Design Program is a 3-day program. For latest dates and time download our brochure. 
The price for this course is € 2.450.00 (including catering and digital program materials). MPI members receive a discount of € 500.00, AUV members (UvA Alumni) receive a discount of 10%. Invoices will be sent from Event Design Collective GmbH, which means the course fee is exempt from VAT for non-Swiss countries.

Participants receive a valuable Event Design Certificate.
