The potential of quantum technology for society and science is huge, but its introduction also poses major challenges. The Centre for Quantum and Society works for the Netherlands on future scenarios of a world with quantum technology and the development of use cases. Launched in 2022 by Quantum Delta NL, the Centre  is a knowledge and co-creation centre to maximise quantum technologies’ positive impact in society while minimise potential negative impact. With a focus on ethical, legal and societal aspects, it seeks to harnesses the power of quantum for good.

The Centre fo Quantum and Society is looking for links with humanities perspectives on quantum technology. Together with the Amsterdam Humanities Hub (the collaboration between the UvA, KNAW and the municipality in the University Quarter), it is therefore organising this Quantum Talk, in which quantum experts will share thoughts with humanities scholars.
