Sophia Medica

One of the projects we are doing research in is Sophia Medica: Proof of Concept research on refresher trainings of general practitioners. A current challenge for Dutch general practitioners is that they have to master the NHG standards in accordance with legislation and regulations, but are often unable to keep their knowledge up to date, due to lack of time. Without an effective way of identifying which standard(s) the general practitioner benefits most from continuing education, the possibility arises that gaps in the medical knowledge of general practitioners are not addressed.
