Lecturers find professional development programmes, educational expertise and guidance at TLC to help them develop in line with prior knowledge and interests. This is based on the principle: “The academic lecturer takes the lead in their own development and develops themselves by adopting an research-based attitude and learning through inquiry, thereby enhancing the student’s learning process."

Lecturers can find a range of resources for educational innovation at TLC, including various teaching grants, the Visible Learning Trajectories Programmes (curriculum-level programmes) and communities.

Events, best practices, available teaching resources and communities are brought together via a knowledge-sharing platform tlc.uva.nl. Amongst others, you will find research findings relating to (online) teaching and an overview of teaching tools. The content on this platform is created for and by UvA lecturers.
