Greenhouse complex

The greenhouse complex offers the Faculty of Science its own growing facilities for plant research. The complex is equipped with advanced climate control functionality. In all compartments climate, light and watering can be regulated independently with a climate computer. The complex is used for teaching and research.

The greenhouse complex was built according to the most recent environmental guidelines. Energy conserving measures are applied as much as possible, such as the use of outdoor screens, double-walled polycarbonate panels in the climate compartments and water recycling.
