We will introduce the program Global Communication Science, with a particular focus on new media technologies. You will gain insight into how media technologies shape individuals and society, the questions explored in Communication Science, and why a global perspective is essential. The mini lecture will also examine a concrete example: how chatbots, as emerging communication technologies, can persuade and influence people.
