Toss a coin: heads or tails. It may seem completely random. But if you knew exactly how hard you threw it and at what angle, you could predict the outcome. After all, the coin simply follows Newton’s laws. But what if the coin were a micrometre in size? Or a picometre? As we zoom in further, does chance become a fundamental part of nature? That is what we will explore in this mini lecture.
