Roel van Engelen is a lecturer in the Department of Political Science, where he teaches both lectures and tutorials in the fields of International Relations and Political Economy. He also serves as the department’s Assessment Coordinator, a teaching coach for junior lecturers, and a 'TLCoach' within the faculty-wide Teaching and Learning Centre (TLC). In addition, he contributes as an Assessment Expert to the University of Amsterdam’s central TLC. He is a member of the Examinations Board for the Politics, Psychology, Law and Economics (PPLE) programme, and serves as Academic Director of the pre-university Honours Programme in International Relations at the UvA Graduate School of Social Sciences.
