Agustin Ferrari Braun is a PhD reseacher in the NWO-funded project Public Values in the Algorithmic Society at the University of Amsterdam, and an affiliated researcher at the Institut de Recherche Médias, Cultures, Communication et Numérique at the University Sorbonne Nouvelle. His doctoral research examines the politics of media infrastructure in the European news media industry, paying particular attention to the (power) relations between Big Tech and media companies. Agustin's research interest include political economy of media, media theory, and the cultural logics of platform capitalism. Prior to his PhD, Agustin obtained a B.A. in Human, Social, and Political Sciences (specialization in Politics and Social Anthropology) from the University of Cambridge, and a r.M.A. in Media Studies from the University of Amsterdam.
