Agustin Ferrari Braun is a PhD cadidate at the University of Amsterdam, working in the OCW-funded project Public Values in the Algorithmic Society. His doctoral research explores the power structures that have emerged in the contemporary European news ecosystem as a result of its platformisation. More broadly, his research interests include the political economy of (digital) media, financial media, and new media theory. Prior to his PhD, Agustin obtained a B.A. in Political Science and Social Anthropology from the University of Cambridge, and a rMA in Media Studies from the University of Amsterdam.
