Dr. Sumeet Malik studies how market actors interact with regulatory and social institutions. His work has been published in leading journals, including the Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, Research Policy, and the Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal. He teaches Creative Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Business Ethics.
His research received the Best Ph.D. Paper Award (KI) at SMS 2021 and was a finalist for the Best Ph.D. Paper Award (TIM) at AOM 2020. He regularly reviews for top journals and serves on the Editorial Review Board of Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice.
Dr. Malik received his Ph.D. from IE Madrid and completed his postdoctoral work at IESE Madrid.
He also shares accessible breakdowns of new and interesting research on his YouTube channel, Devil Wears Data, where he posts regularly.
With the help of his lovely wife, Sumeet is also trying to parent an outgoing girl and a shy boy.
