International exchange students from partner universities have to be nominated by their home university. Students have to contact their international office at their home university for information on how to apply.
Independent students should have completed at least two years of study in the field of business, economics and/or quantitative economics or another relevant field of study at an academic educational institute in their home country. They should have a grade point average of 3.0 (US system), or similar. Students of a university of applied sciences are not admissible.
English language proficiency
Students need to have sufficient proficiency in the English language. They have to be able to read textbooks, understand lectures, write papers and other assignments in English, and take part in class discussions. If, on arrival in Amsterdam, a student's English is not sufficient to participate actively in the courses, the student will be asked to take remedial English lessons at his/her own expenses. At worst students can be excluded from the courses.
