Overview: what languages can you choose from?
Students European Studies can choose the following languages:
- Arabic
- Bosnisch/Kroatisch/Servisch (taught in Dutch)
- Dutch (only for English-track students)
- Catalan
- Czech
- French
- German
- Italian
- Modern Greek
- Modern Hebrew
- Polish
- Russian
- Scandinavian
- Spaans (taught in Dutch)
- Spanish
- Turkish

Why do you study a language as a European Studies student and how do you make that choice? What languages can you choose from and what do you have to gain from that ultimately? Our lecturer and student will tell you all about it in just a few minutes.

Step 2: Which language are you interested in? Fill in the questionnaire
Have you already thought about your own language selection? Some languages are more difficult to learn than others, as a result of which the final level of the languages may differ. You are not allowed to choose your own native language. Fill in the questionnaire via the link below and find out which options suit you best.

Do you want to know more about the languages you can choose? Then check out the document below.

Step 4: Participate in the online Language Information Session on June 4 at 16:30.
During the online Language Information Session you receive more information about the language courses in combination with the European Studies programme and you can ask all your questions.

Step 5: Deadline of definitive language selection: 22 June
Do you know which language you will be choosing? If so, please let us know about that by 22 June at the latest via the form below. We will then make sure that you are enrolled in the correct language courses before the new academic year.
