We are now better protected against coronavirus, but the virus is still among us. So please continue to follow the basic measures as a precaution. By doing so, you reduce the chance of getting infected and you take into consideration the interests of others concerned about their health.

National COVID measures have all been lifted but there are still basic recommendations: cough and sneeze in your elbow, wash your hands regularly, avoid shaking hands.
Check MijnVraagOverCorona.nl. Consult with your lecturer or supervisor about the possibilities for working or studying from home.
All restrictions on teaching, exams, events or other activitities on campus are lifted. Wearing a face mask is no longer mandatory. If you prefer to wear a face mask however, you are free to do so.
It is still possible to get a vaccine or a test. Self-tests are available at the building entrances on campus or you can make an appointment via coronatest.nl or planjeprik.nl.

The campus is open. All updated opening hours for buildings can be found on the locations-page. If there are any extra measures taken for acces to the buildings, we will also post them on this page.
All buildings have sufficient ventilation according to RIVM guidelines. We will closely monitor the ventilation systems continuesly.
We are following the travel advice of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The situation often demands customised solutions. Always contact your manager or the contact person at your faculty to discuss the situation that is specific to you. Find specific information about travels regarding UvA here.
Working from home and hybrid working will remain possible at the UvA. You can make agreements about this with your team and manager. Check the staff website for tips, guidelines and the UvA policy on hybrid working.
