John Bezold (1985) is an American-Dutch editor and researcher. Within academia, his work centers on connoisseurship, curation, art markets, and collecting practices—especially by museums in the twentieth century. John holds a BSc in architecture from the University of Cincinnati, alongside an MA and ResMA in art history, from the University of Amsterdam. A digital publishing expert, and the review editor of Oud Holland from 2019-2024; in 2022 he launched the world's first podcast dedicated entirely to the paintings of Frans Hals.
