  • Profile

Ettore Cerracchio is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences at the University of Amsterdam. He is affiliated with the Brain and Cognition programme. After gaining his MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience at Sapienza University (Rome, Italy), he spent 6 months at Radboud University (Nijmegen, NL) under Prof. Mike X Cohen for an internship. Subsequently, he worked as a research assistant with the IMCN research group under Prof. Birte Forstmann. He started his PhD in early 2022.
In his research and teaching, Ettore Cerracchio focuses on:

    1. The role of spatial attention and expectation on decision-making
    2. Cognitive modelling (e.g. DDM)
    3. Subcortical Ultra-high field fMRI
