Martina studied European studies and International relations at Masaryk University (MU) in the Czech Republic. She started her career as a grant advisor and research policy advisor at Research and Development office at MU, Czech Republic. After moving to the Netherlands in 2014, she joined the Research support office at Utrecht University as a grant advisor, helping researchers in applying for (mainly) EU-funded projects, and Project manager of several collaborative H2020 projects. In 2019, she joined the grant support team of IXA UvA, where she was supporting researchers of the SSH-oriented faculties with applying for collaborative (national and international) research grants. As of 2021, Martina is a research subsidy advisor and project manager at the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences.
