Starting in autumn 2021, Miss Zhonghua Du is a PhD researcher at ACIL. Her research project, co-supervised by Professor Ingo Venzke and Professor André Nollkaemper, focuses on the positioning of transnational corporations in international law, in particular, in international climate change law. Her research is funded by University of Amsterdam - China Scholarship Council PhD Programme. Prior to joining ACIL, Zhonghua Du completed a Bachelor in Law (L.L.B) at the Law School of Peking University (first honors), and a Magister Juris (MJur) at University of Oxford (merit). She interned at ECCC, Human Rights Institute of IBA, and the Beijing Office of Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP.
