Zaydoun is a PhD candidate and a researcher with a sociology and migration studies background from the Lebanese American University. Working at the Arabc Center for Research and Policy Studies. My work focusing on music and migration as well as cultural production by migrants in Europe as well as transnational aspects of culture and cultural production.
My research tackles the case of Levantine musicians who reside in Berlin and how the current cultural structure impacts their daily life and how they engage with such structures in the context of neoliberal consumer markets as well as postcolonial relations.
