Claudia M. van der Heijde (1967) is a senior research scientist at the department of Research, Development and Prevention at the Student Health Services of the University of Amsterdam. Her research subjects include health, employability, (S)HRM, career development, and diversity & life phase issues. She published in various international peer reviewed journals and more practical journals. Furthermore, she is a supervisor and advisor of bachelor and master students with their graduation projects. She is also an expert on instrument development and validation. Together with Peter Vonk and Frans J. Meijman she developed the Student Health Check: Traffic Lights' instrument for the detection of student health complaints and student problems, including feedback tool. She developed an instrument together with Prof dr. Beatrice I. J. M. van der Heijden and the Indic@tor Consortium to measure employability and career success of employees and to explore employability stimulation strategies for employers.
