Willeke Jeeninga, International Student Affairs - Manager Global Partnerships

Willeke Jeeninga is the Manager of Global Partnerships at UvA’s International Student Affairs (BIS). In this role, she oversees and manages UvA’s Global Partnerships related to student mobility and international student experiences. Additionally, she advises UvA faculties and other departments on international policy, strategy, and partnerships. Willeke cultivates relationships with many of UvA’s international partners and contributes to a transformative evaluation system, drawing on her extensive historical expertise in this area.

Willeke earned her MA in Art History at VU University Amsterdam with a major in Architecture. She has undertaken various projects for the Heritage Department in the city of Hoorn, involving research into the history of several monuments and regional subjects, leading to publications.
