    Karen Kraal is werkzaam als Adviseur Wetenschapscommunicatie/Persvoorlichter bij het Bureau Communicatie van de Universiteit van Amsterdam. In deze functie ondersteunt ze wetenschappers bij het effectief verspreiden van hun expertise naar diverse doelgroepen en media. Daarnaast coördineert ze het Wetenschapscommunicatieproject binnen het Communicatieprogramma van de universiteit.

    Met uitgebreide ervaring in zowel onderzoek als wetenschapscommunicatie heeft ze communicatiemiddelen en trainingsprogramma's ontwikkeld die zijn afgestemd op zowel academische als niet-academische doelgroepen. Haar expertise ligt in het overbruggen van de kloof tussen de wetenschappelijke gemeenschap en het bredere publiek, met als doel een toegankelijkere en impactvolle uitwisseling van kennis te waarborgen.
