Dorota is an experienced researcher and a research manager, with passion for ethics of research. As a researcher she was affiliated with Utrecht University, University of Amsterdam, Tilburg University, University of Bristol, Central European University and Polish Academy of Sciences. Her interdisciplinary and multi-method research centred on issues of social in/exclusion, in/justice, and cultural diversity, and combined expertise in sociology with insights from social psychology, communication science, political science, youth studies and education studies. Between 2017 and 2019, when co-coordinating a H2020 project – ETHOS, Dorota combined her research with research management, and in 2021 switched to research management.
At UvA, Dorota is a member of Collaborative Research Support Team (CORE) at the University of Amsterdam, Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences. Within the CORE team she supports coordination of EU-funded collaborative projects: AdMiGov, EuSocialCit, TIMELY. She specializes in issues of research ethics and research data management. Since 2022 she has been a member of Ethics and Research Integrity Officer Network (ERION) within European Association of Research Managers and Administrators (EARMA). She is an active member of ERION-EARMA Core Group.
