Ula Małecka is a PhD candidate in the ARTES at the University of Amsterdam. She is a researcher in a project The Politics of EU Climate Policies: how specific EU policies shape the discussion, practices and ultimately the value and status of Polish forests. Her scientific interests are: forest-human relations, democratic management of nature, environmental activism, engaged science, more-than-human socialities.
She is graduate of anthropology and the CREOLE program at the Institute of Anthropology and Ethnology at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. She is also a part of AMU Research Centre for Energy and Environmental Challenges.
