I am a PhD candidate in Political Science at the University of Amsterdam, where I research (anti)corruption in the European Union as part of the EUCovert project. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Leiden University (cum laude and Honours College, 2022) and a Master's degree in International Public Affairs from Central European University (cum laude and Academic Excellence Award in Austria, 2024).
My professional experience includes internships at the European Union (2024), the International Anti-Corruption Academy (2023), and the UNDP’s International Aid Transparency Initiative (2022). I have published on party corruption, off-bench judicial behavior, and corruption in sports.
While my current research focuses on the reconceptualization of (anti-)corruption, and on (anti)corruption narratives, I am further interested in themes in transitional justice. As for creative writing, I have authored six literary publications. I remain available for any exchange, feel always free to reach out.
Process tracing, content analysis, interviews, and case studies.
