    Isabelle Oostveen-de Vink werkt als universitair docent bij het Research Institute of Child Development and Education (RICDE). Zij geeft onderwijs bij onder andere de bachelor- en masteropleiding pedagogische wetenschappen en doet onderzoek naar schoolse vaardigheden in het basisonderwijs, zoals rekenvaardigheid. Hiervoor heeft Isabelle promotieonderzoek gedaan naar het stimuleren van creatief denken in het rekenonderwijs.
