Izaak Visser is a PhD candidate at the University of Amsterdam, affiliated with the Research Institute of Child Development and Education (RICDE). He has an academic background in Sociology and Social Inequality. His research focuses on how schools can leverage their social networks to maintain educational quality and inclusivity in the context of persistent teacher shortages.

His dissertation combines qualitative and quantitative research methods and explores how these insights can be applied in practice. He is supervised by dr. Nicolette van Halem, dr. Edith Roefs, and Prof. dr. Frank Cornelissen. Through his research, Izaak aims to provide practical insights that help schools better prepare for future challenges.
