Karla Zavala Barreda is a PhD candidate at the University of Amsterdam and part of the Amsterdam School of Cultural Analysis (ASCA). Her PhD project focuses on the production, distribution, access, and consumption of educational software aimed at young children with the interdisciplinary network e-LADDA, where she was a Marie Skłodowska-Curie (MSCA) Early-Stage researcher. Karla holds a Master’s in Media Arts Cultures and collaborates with the internet teapot design studio on critical and speculative design projects.
