Practical information for doctoral committee members

In addition to professors, doctoral committee members may also wear academic gowns during PhD ceremonies – including co-supervisors, all voting (other) members of the doctorate committee, advisory guest opponents, and guest experts. Doctoral committee members who do not have their own gown but wish to wear one may borrow a gown. Loan gowns are available in the gown room.

More practical information about the PhD ceremony venues, including directions and an overview of the ceremony process, can be found in the document Information for Doctoral Committee Members (PDF, 1 p.).
