Science Day at Amsterdam Science Park
Science Day at Amsterdam Science Park on Saturday 4 October is open to anyone between 6 and 106 who is interested in science and would like to learn more about it.
Take a look behind the scenes of science. Do a test, attend interesting lectures, take a tour, or watch a demonstration. Get to know the many themes and techniques that are investigated at the Amsterdam Science Park. This event is part of Science Weekend. The following Science Park organisations are taking part in Science Day: AMOLF, ARCNL, CWI, NIKHEF and the Faculty of Science.
At SP904, visitors can explore the entire scope of natural sciences: from cell biology to theoretical physics, from artificial intelligence to sustainable chemistry. For example, they can attend demonstrations on the evolution of a tornado, and children can take workshops on honest AI, among other things. Read up on what researchers are saying about their contributions, like Gomèr en Jari for the Institute for Logic, Language and Computation (ILLC), and Jan van Maarseveen of the Van 't Hoff Institute for Molecular Sciences (HIMS).
