Demonstrations are taking place at various locations on the campus this week. On Monday, protesters set up tents at the Roeterseiland campus. Tuesday evening, buildings were occupied Barricades were erected, and protesters spent the night in the occupied building. The Executive Board subsequently invited a delegation of protesters to seek a solution together.

This discussion took place on Wednesday morning. It was decided afterwards to continue with a second meeting later in the day. This is to allow the involved parties time to consider the proposals made.

The Executive Board is pleased that the conversation will continue. Engaging in dialogue remains the solution, even in moments of tension on campus. The Executive Board is keeping in contact with the protesters and hopes they can work towards a solution that will end this situation, and work for all parties involved.
