    Alexandros Lefteratos is a part-time doctoral researcher at the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences in Transnational Configurations, Conflict and Governance programme.  His research analyses the effects of contested statehood to the European Union's multi-level external action, in Kosovo, Palestine and Cyprus.

    Alexandros holds two Master's Degrees in European studies from College of Europe (Awarded with full scholarship by the European Commission) and Luiss Guido Carli (Rome), and a Bachelor Degree in European Studies and International Relations from Panteion University (Athens). He is currently employed by the European Border and Coast Guard Agency - Frontex.  

    He is a big advocate of of Gender Equality and proactive member of several organizations pursuing eradication of bullying and social discrimination.
