Dr. Maric, Marija is an assistant professor clinical developmental psychology and cognitive behavioral therapist. Her main research areas include investigation of effectiveness and mediators of interventions for youth anxiety, school refusal, negative self-esteem, trauma, child abuse, and comorbid anxiety and ADHD. In her research, she uses both RCT designs as well as single-case design methodology. She is the chair of the exam comittee psychology, teaches courses in the area of evidence-based interventions for children and adolescents, and trains therapists in the use of single-case methodology to assess individual client progress. Dr. Maric is the winner of the Wim Truijsburgprijs for the best Dutch junior researcher conducting clinical practice relevant research.
