    Ruth Mugge is Professor in Responsible Marketing (0.2 fte) at the section Marketing of the Amsterdam Business School. In addition, she has a position as a professor at the faculty Industrial Design Engineering at the Delft University of Technology.

    Her research focuses on sustainable consumer behaviour in a Circular Economy in order to reduce the environmental impact of our consumption. She focuses on different circular behaviors, such as repair, consuming less, and stimulating the adoption of refurbished and secondhand products.

    Ruth Mugge has published on these topics in scientific journals, such as the Journal of Product Innovation Management, Resources, Conservation and Recycling, International Journal of Design and Journal of Cleaner Production. Furthermore, she serves as an Associate Editor for Resources, Conservation and Recycling.
