    Sebastian is an Assistant Professor in Accounting at the University of Amsterdam, Amsterdam Business School. He joined UvA in 2021 after completing his Ph.D. at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Sebastian earned his M.Sc. in Economics and Management Sciences from Humboldt University Berlin and his B.Sc. in Management from ESB Business School.

    Sebastian currently teaches courses in financial accounting, judgment and decision making, and experimental methods.

    In his research, he examines how the formatting and complexity of disclosure influence users, prepareres and auditors of financial statements in their judgment and decision making. Sebastian's work uses primarily experimental methods in the laboratory and in field settings.
